Homemade Caramel Corn Recipe

September 16, 2016 by Lisa Pinney

Fall always stirs up my memories of Fair Food…

The smell of caramel corn wafting through the air as we walk the aisles is right up there on my favorites list!

I set out to recreate that wonderful memory and you won’t believe how easy this is!

The guys in my house said it was just ridiculous how good it tasted!

I hope you are going to think so too!

This is how this magical corn begins…

Boil the syrup ingredients for 5 minutes…

Remove from heat and add the baking soda…

Pour over the corn…

Stir…

Roast on 200 degrees for 2 hours stirring every 15 minutes…

Pour on wax paper to dry…

Just for fun…thinking my grand babies may love to eat it like this…

i dipped the rim of the cones in chocolate melts and sprinkles…

I placed it all in a giant popcorn bucket for everyone to enjoy!
