Lisa’s Easy Mexican Layered Dip Recipe

August 10, 2014 by Lisa Pinney

Sometimes you just have to throw something together in a pinch!
I usually have all the ingredients on hand in the fridge
to make this most wonderful impromptu party dip!

The delicious ingredients…
Spread the cream cheese in your dish…

Add the salsa…

Mix the sour cream and taco seasoning…
Spread it over the salsa…
Top with the shredded cheese…

The pico and the green onion…
Time to get the party started!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1–2 cups salsa
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1 cup pico
  • 1 or 2 green onions sliced thin
  • 8 oz shredded cheese

Instructions

In a 9 x 13 pan, spread the cream cheese until smooth. Pour the salsa over next.

Mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning and carefully spread over the salsa.

Top with the shredded cheese, pico and green onion. If I have black olives, I will add that too!

Enjoy with tortilla chips!
