Bake on 350 degrees for 20-22 minutes…
Perfection!
While the cakes are cooling, toast your almonds…
I do mine in a pan so I won’t burn them in the oven…true story…more than once…
Now make the frosting…
you may have to add a little milk or cream to thin it to spreading consistency…
Frost the bottom layer…
Add the 2nd layer and frost the top and sides…
Place the almonds on the sides…
I added some chocolate sprinkles and green sugar just for St Patrick’s Day magic!
