Kahlua Truffles Recipe

January 26, 2018 by Lisa Pinney

If you’re looking for an incredible way to knock someone’s socks off this Valentines Day…then this recipe is for you!

These amazing cream cheese truffles with that smooth kiss of Kahlua will make this holiday unforgettable!

Here’s how it all begins!

I’ve never tried Tim Tams until now but they’re

pretty yummy even on their own!

Pulverize those cookies then add the cream cheese

And the Kahlua and combine well…

Put in a container and refrigerate 20 minutes…

Roll them into balls and refrigerate 20 more minutes…

Melt your chocolate…

Dip each truffle and place back on parchment paper…

Refrigerate 20 more minutes…

Drizzle with white chocolate…

Swoon…

I even used them on my Bushwhacker Cheesecake!

And on my Bushwhacker Cupcakes!

They’re versatile and delicious!

Kahlua Truffles Recipe

  • Author: Lisa Pinney

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pkg White Chocolate Tim Tam Cookies (I’ve only found these on Amazon)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 oz Kahlua
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli white chocolate melts
  • 1/4 cup Ghirardelli milk chocolate melts
  • 1 1/2 oz Ghirardelli white chocolate melts for drizzling

Instructions

In food processor, crush Tim Tams until they resemble fine crumbs.

Add the cream cheese and Kahlua and process a few times until all combined.

Place in a container and refrigerate 20 minutes to get firm.

Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a parchment paper lined container in the refrigerator for another 20 minutes.

Place the cup of white chocolate and 1/4 cup milk chocolate in microwave safe bowl.

Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring at each interval, until chocolate is melted and smooth. This may take 2-3 minutes.

Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.

Place back in refrigerator to harden about 1 hour.

Melt the remaining white chocolate and drizzle over each truffle.

Enjoy!
