Apple Cheesecake Bars Recipe

You’re going to enjoy this simple and delicious taste of fall!

Lets get this deliciousness started!

Combine the crust ingredients….

It will look like grainy sand like this!

Press into the bottom of your 10 x 15 jelly roll pan…

Bake on 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown like this…

Make the filling by combining the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar…

add the eggs one at a time…

Spread the filling carefully over the crust…

Sprinkle the sugar and spice mixture over the apples and toss to coat …

Scatter them all over the cheesecake layer…

Combine the yummy topping ingredients…

Sprinkle the topping all over the apples…

After baking it will look amazing like this!

Cool and cut into squares…

Apple Cheesecake Bars Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • Crust:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • Filling:
  • 2–8oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • Apple Filling:
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Streusel:
  • 3/4 c all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup cold butter,cubed

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

With mixer, combine crust ingredients until the mixture is fine and crumbly.

Press into the bottom of 10×15 pan.

Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.

Make the filling:

Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Spread over crust.

Prepare apples:

Toss the apples with the spices and place over cream cheese layer.

Make streusel:

Mix streusel ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over Apple layer.

Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

*you can make thicker bars by using a 9×13 pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Refrigerate 2 hours before cutting into bars.
