Slow Cooker Salisbury Steaks Recipe2014-10-10

- 2 pounds ground beef or ground chuck
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms, not drained
In a large bowl, combine the beef, dry onion soup mix, bread crumbs and milk. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Shape into patties and sear on each side in a large frying pan.
Place the seared patties in your slow cooker.
Pour the soup and the jar of mushrooms over the patties.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Enjoy!

You can use a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup…but alas, I only had Cream of Chicken and I know it would be yummy as well, so that’s what we poured in…along with the jar of mushrooms…
There it is…dinner just waiting to be all ready for you when you get home!
And when you walk through that door…perfection!
I served it with a side of roasted brussel sprouts…so yummy!
The Salisbury steaks would be absolutely amazing with a side of rice…I would highly recommend it if you’re not on a carb restriction like we are this week! 🙂
