Even during the holidays, my kids want something a little different when they’re tired of turkey and ham leftovers!
Cheese Dip is always one of their favorites and this recipe is quite delicious!
The delicious ingredients…
Cook the sausage and onions until done and drain the fat…
Add the Rotel and green chilies…
Add the hunka hunka Velveeta…
cover and reduce heat to low…
stir occasionally so it won’t burn…
When it’s hot and creamy like this…add the chopped jalapeno…
Serve with your favorite chips!
I love to add some chopped tomatoes to the top as well 🙂

Ingredients
- One 1-pound package refrigerated hot breakfast sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- One 2-pound block Velveeta
- One 10-ounce can Rotel
- 1 can chopped green chiles
- 1 jalapeno, diced
Instructions
Brown the sausage and onion in a large nonstick skillet; drain.
Add the Rotel and green chilies stir until combined.
Add the Velveeta and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted. Stir occasionally and keep and eye on the dip so that it does not burn.
Next, stir in the diced jalapeno.
Enjoy with chips of your choice!
