Oven Roasted Fresh Green Beans Recipe2014-09-26

These were amazing! I love oven roasted veggies anyway…but these…oh my! They have been saved to my Thanksgiving menu!
- 4 pounds fresh green beans
- 16 slices thin bacon, cut into tiny pieces
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp Morton's Natures Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Put the beans on a large baking sheet. Pour the olive oil over the beans and add the seasonings.
Sprinkle the bacon and onions over the beans and toss to combine.
Bake until the bacon is sizzling and the beans are starting to brown, 18 to 20 minutes.

I placed my beans in a baking dish and added the oil…
Toss them to make sure the oil is coating the beans…
Just look at the happy mountain of bacon….
Add the bacon and the chopped onions and stir…
Add the seasonings…
Look at these delicious beans after baking on 20 minutes at 425 degrees!
