We tried this new recipe for our ham for Thanksgiving.
There’s nothing better than peaches and ham!
Ham with Bourbon Peach Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 7-8 lb smoked ham

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325.

Step 2

Combine preserves and bourbon in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in cumin, ginger, and pepper. Cool slightly.

Step 3

Place ham in your roasting pan. Brush ham all over with the peach glaze.

Step 4

Cover ham tightly with foil and bake at 325 for 2 hours.

Step 5

Transfer ham to a platter; let stand 15 minutes. Slice and serve. You can spoon any sauce left in the pan over the slices...yum!

Cover tightly with foil…
Bake on 350 degrees for 2 hours…
