Grilled Pizza Recipe

Pizza is one of my absolute favorite foods. 
I love it with just about any topping. 
I’ve never made my own dough, but the Pioneer Woman
made it look so easy in her
new cookbook that I had to try it! 
It was very easy and really delicious. 
We had fun making it as a family. 
Put it on your agenda next weekend and have a
new family adventure using the grill! 
Pizza Dough
2c All Purpose Flour
1 tsp yeast
3/4 tsp sea salt
3 TBSP olive oil
3/4 c warm water (1 heated mine in the microwave for 1 1/2 min)
Sprinkle the yeast in the water.  
It should be bubbly like this….that way you know
the yeast is working.
Put the dry ingredients in your mixing bowl. 
Drizzle the olive oil next while mixing on low. 
Add the yeast mixture. 
Your dough should look like this.
Place dough in bowl greased with olive oil.
Turn dough over once and cover bowl with saran wrap.
Let rise for about an hour. 
Place in baggie and refrigerator overnight. 
You really need a helper like this! 
She was so good at rolling the dough out! 
You can pinch off small pieces to make individual pizzas or
you can roll out the entire ball of dough for a large pizza.
We made individual pizzas because everyone likes different toppings. 
“I want this cheese on mine, Grandma,” says Noah. 🙂
Put flattened dough on grill and brush with olive oil. 
Grill until brown with grill marks on both sides. 
Have the toppings ready:
We used–olives, onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts,
peppers, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Chop those beautiful peppers…
Saute’ those onions and mushrooms…
Drain the huge olives…
Drain and slice the artichokes…
This is the tomato I left out of the cast of ingredients…whew! 
glad I remembered…love fresh tomato on pizza!
Ready to top the pizzas….
When dough is done and has grill marks, top with your favorite toppings –for Kaia, it was the whole bowl of olives  :)…
and return to the grill to melt the cheese.
Beautiful, fun to make  and absolutely delicious!
