Amazing Apple Fritter Recipe

Kaia and I decided to try this homemade Apple Fritter recipe this past weekend…she gave it the “thumbs up”!



  • 2 large apples
  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 TBSP butter, melted
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla & butternut flavoring


Step 1

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl with a whisk. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl combine milk, eggs, vanilla and butternut flavoring, melted butter and beat with whisk.

Step 3

Combine two bowls pouring the smaller into the larger and mixing well.

Step 4

Peel, core, and cut up apples and fold into the batter.

Step 5

Pour enough oil into skillet to make about 1/4 inch. Heat oil and drop large spoonfuls of batter into hot oil.

Step 6

Cook until brown on one side, flip and continue frying until both sides are brown. Remove and drain on wire rack.

Step 7

Sprinkle each apple fritter generously with powdered sugar.

In your large bowl, combine the milk, eggs, vanilla butternut flavor…


melted butter…
In another bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt…
Stir well to combine with the liquid mixture…
It will look delightfully yummy like this…
Peel the apples…slice into small chunks and add to the batter…
Heat the oil and drop batter by large spoonfuls…
fry each side until golden brown…
Drain on rack and sprinkle each apple fritter generously with powdered sugar…
Then the test kitchen expert…
